Infrastructure of R & D
- Nirala Seeds company carries out extensive Breeding research over 100 acres of research farms. We also have poly-houses and net-houses for our breeding projects. Our sprawling 30,000 sq ft Breeding Support Center located at Hyderabad, which has doing research on new quality of crop by Molecular biology, Plant tissue culture, Plant Physiology and biochemistry Divisions. We are proud to have a team of well educated agricultural techniques, creative, efficient and dynamic plant breeders and technicians. Our team of experts work towards assessing the symptoms and diagnosing the disease by carrying out wide scale hot spot screenings in field as well as artificial conditions. While nutrient and water use efficiency projects are taken up at our Plant Physiology Division.
- Concious the role of R&D in the evolution of market competitive hybrids and other agribusiness products, the company has continued to invest in R&D to augment research facilities, farm infrastructure development, and mechanization of farm operations and in human resource deployment. Such thoughtful efforts of the past are now contributing to the consolidation and sustainability of gains. The company has extended cropped area and diversified crops by adding newer ones for agri-seed business. Sun flower, Jowar, Beans, Red gram and wheat are the additions to the crop cafeteria of the company.. Furthermore, the company has successfully launched several new hybrids of Sunflower, Peas, Maize and Bajra in the market. We believe in being futuristic and predicting the need of the farmers in the coming years and finding a sustainable solution.
- Over the years, our research and development efforts have resulted in a wide range of high quality products. These products are specifically engineered for different agro-climatic conditions, with added resistances against diseases, and biotic and abiotic stress tolerances. Analysing the quality parameters of our products is vital to determine the marketability of the product. Biochemical and nutritional parameters are routinely evaluated in the Biochemistry laboratory. We maintain an agricultural symbiotic relationship with our farmers, by helping them produce high-yielding seeds as seed growers.

Production, Processing & Packaging
- Seeds production programes are taken at various places in state of Bihar, Madhya pradesh, Uttar pradesh and Hyderabad on farmers fields. We are supplying basic seeds i.e. foundation seeds in required quantity, technical advice and finance according to need basis. Our mission is to become the best Supply Chain in the industry. The experienced seed technologist and engineers work as a team for the final commercial seeds. The seeds are packed with outmost care using modern machineries and experienced staffs.
- Our testing methods are so accurate that every single seed is tested before its dispatch to destinations. An error free operation & Logistic methods are adapted with the help of special software applications and a systematic working methodology. Nirala Seeds believes not to compromise on quality continuing to deliver the best of the seeds at all times.
- Our Company provides foundation seeds to the seed producers, which are developed under direct supervision of breeder and technical supervisors. Well experience & technical staff visits seed production plots periodically and advise to producers for making best quality seeds. Standard sampling procedure follows for withdrawing representative samples from produce of individual producers & farmers. Then all lots undergoes for quality test i.e for germination, physical purity & genetic purity test. Pass standard lots as per existing seed act are used for processing, packing and marking.
- The seed lots received from seed growers and stored in seed processing godowns are sampled as per ISTA sampling guideline and samples are submitted to QA for testing various quality parameters.
- Our focus is to ensure quality, right at inception with continuous improvements. QA function also carry out surveillance of production, processing and packaging activities to ensure supply of seeds as per quality assurance norms.
